WayMeet Limited is conducting a voluntary recall of
its ESR Wireless Power Banks

The lithium-ion battery in the recalled power banks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.

Consumers should immediately stop using the wireless power banks. Consumers should contact WayMeet Limited for instructions to receive a full refund and submit a photo showing the model number with “Recalled” written on the power bank in permanent marker.

Incidents/Injuries

The firm has received three reports of the lithium-ion battery catching fire and exploding, resulting in property damages.

Consumer Contact

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power banks and contact ESR for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to send to support@esrtech.com a photo of the recalled power bank showing the model number with the word “Recalled” written on it in permanent marker.

We’ve identified a potential manufacturing issue affecting lithium-ion battery cells from a specific supplier. This issue was discovered during our enhanced quality checks. While the risk of failure is extremely low, we’re voluntarily recalling certain models out of an abundance of caution to prioritize your safety.

The model number is printed on the side of your power bank. Please refer to the image demonstrated on the Recalled Product section for help locating it.

This voluntary recall applies only to the following ESR models sold in the United Kingdom.

- ESR HaloLock Kickstand Wireless Power Bank (6,000 mAh) - Model: 2G520

- ESR HaloLock Kickstand Wireless Power Bank (10,000 mAh) - Model: 2G505B

- ESR HaloLock Wireless Power Bank (10,000 mAh) - Model: 2G512B

We are conducting a thorough assessment of products sold in other regions. If we discover any defects that require a recall, we will announce it on our official website.

If your power bank matches one of the recalled models sold in the U.S. or Canada:

- Stop using it immediately.

- Write “Recalled” in permanent marker next to the model number, or tape a note with “Recalled” written on it if the surface is black.

- Take a photo showing the model number and the “Recalled” marking.

- Email support@esrtech.com with the subject line: [Model] ESR Power Bank Recall. Include your order number, purchase channel, model number, and the photo.

- Do not dispose of the power bank until you receive an email confirming your recall eligibility.

If your power bank is part of the recall, you will receive a full refund of the original purchase price.
No. If your power bank is part of this recall, stop using it immediately—even if your power bank appears to be working normally. Affected units may pose a risk of overheating, melting, smoking, or catching fire.
Once you’ve received confirmation from ESR that your power bank qualifies for a refund, please dispose of it properly at a facility certified recycling facility that accepts lithium batteries, Do not throw it away in household trash, curbside recycling, or standard battery drop-off bins. These locations are not equipped to handle recalled lithium-ion batteries.
